Duke Dumont

It has been a very exciting time lately, I had the awesome pleasure of working with one of my fav DJ's, Duke Dumont.

Getting ready for his upcoming UK and Europe tour, I was called in to work on his 'Duke Dumont LIVE' gig for Oslo, Hackney.

Brought in only a few days before the gig, safe to say we didn't get much sleep that week, but it was incredibly exciting and inspiring to be working with an amazing artist, and interesting for me as this was the first time I had the opportunity to work with a DJ. With time against us, I had the set and the basic programming down on day one, leaving a few rehearsal days for tweeking and refining. Working with DJ's I realised how important it is to get the sounds as close to the original track as possible, and the Kronos helped me do just that, using mainly the HD-1 synth engine and a couple of sounds using the AL-1 engine.

The show at Oslo was sold out, and I had an awesome time. Joined by special guests MNEK, Kelli-Leigh, James Vincent McMorrow and A*M*E, whom was lovely to work with again and catch up after I joined her last year on her own support tour for Jessie J. Since, the show has recieved rave reviews, and I had the best time working and getting to know Duke - he is the Duke! xXx
